As a daycare owner and newborn photographer and mother, I have tried my fair share of baby monitors. This one is my favourite! Whether you buy this one or not - just be sure the camera will move around by using the monitor so you don't have to manually turn the camera in your baby's room. That + a long range so you can be downstairs while baby rests upstairs!

Let's face it; you're going to be waking up to feed that delightful little babe many times during the night. You need somewhere comfortable to nurse (or give a bottle!) that sweet little one back to sleep. My advise is to purchase one that you would want to eventually move to another room or that is versatile with any room's decor! This way its still usable after the baby phase is over. 

Again, I am around babies more than I am not. My #1 recommendation when it comes to diapers is hands down Pampers Swaddlers. 

Also! The best thing I did was stock up while pregnant. I think I bought about 4 boxes of each size (size 1 to 5).  If you keep the receipts, most places will let you exchange for another size if you need to when the time comes.
